Without having Tamiya bottles in front of me, its impossible for me to give you mixes...if someone has a Tamiya 1/350 Missouri kit, in the instructions are mixes for the colors, 5-N Navy Blue and 20-B Deck Blue.

In fact, if I'm not mistaken, the Tamiya Fletcher comes with the same mixes...even though they show a Ms12 scheme, the 5-N and 20-B colors are the same, just no 5-H or 5-O.

Measure 21 Camo & Tamiya Acrylic

Hey all,

I'm in the midst of my first ship build. My subject is the USS Dortch (DD-670), which is a square bridge Fletcher class destroyer. Research has told me that the Dortch used the Navy's Measure 21 camo sceme. Measure 21 says that Verticle Surfaces get 5-N Navy Blue and Horizontal surfaces get 20-B Deck Blue. Unfortunately I'm limited to using Tamiya Acrylic at the moment, so what's the best Tamiya Colors for Measure 21. I don't mind mixing colors to get the desired effect. Thanks all.
