                        PCU (Pre Commisionin Unit) Jimmy Carter SSN 023 will be commisioned into the fleet today at the Naval Submarine Base in Groton, Connecticut.

                        For those of you interested in tackling the Jimmy Carter/Seawolf conversion, here is the best assortment of photos that I have seen released to the public of this unique ship.
