Captain of Old Ironsides: Biography of Isaac Hull

It is a library binding- you know where they bind it in a one-color hardback and stamp the title and author on the spine....the pages look like the original from 1947 however and printing is in a very nice font...no ISBN number- those did not come into use until early to mid-1970's...

Is this the book by Bruce Grant? If so, I'm sure it's extremely readable. About twenty years ago another biography of Hull came out; it was written by a fine professional historian whose name (like so many other things) I can't recall at the moment. It's now considered the standard source on Hull's life. It's an outstanding piece of scholarship but a great cure for insomnia.

Blue hardcover cloth binding slightly shelfworn at extremities. Several page-edges are slightly wrinkled by aggressive page turning. Several errors in text have been noted in light pencil.
