Currently building the Titanic, is anyone aware of a lighting kit for this ship? Also, scale figures for the ship scale is 1/350. Thanks.

Gold Medal Models and Tom's Modelworks both offer extensive sets of photo-etched detailing parts for the Titanic in 1/350 scale. I'm not sure about Tom's Modelworks, but Gold Medal has a set of figures that's pretty amazing. It includes recognizable figures of the captain and the ship's band, along with passengers in period clothing. A handy way to get to both those companies is through the Steel Navy website, www.steelnavy.com .

I'm unaware of a commercial kit designed specifically to light this model (or any other ship model), but lots of modelers have done it. There's a website devoted entirely to models of this ship; I'm sure that site has at least one discussion of lighting methods.
