Toms model works has a thing called the Hangar insert, made from brass costing $50.00. Could this be the much needed inside Hangar bay that Tamiya failed to put in? Anyone know about this? If not , check it out on toms website: www.tomsmodelworks.com, its under ship conversions.

Let me know what anyone finds out abou this

Yes it is the hangar deck insert for the Tamiya 1:350 scale Enterprise.   It provides the basic shapes to box-in the deck.   There are no bulkhead/overhead details provided (pipe runs, duct work,  etc.).  Like most TMW products, the surfaces are not relief-etched, so you do not get tie-downs on the deck surfaces.
