I have 2 in dry dock right now, 1:350 Hornet and 1:144 Seawolf. The hornet is coming along nicely but the Seawolf had one major fit problem right out of the gate....one half of the hull was 1/8 inch longer than the other. After some cutting, filling and sanding the halves are togather and proceeding.

Been working on the superstructure of the Academy Bismarck. This kit is a real dog as far as fit and accuracy. The PE is going on nicely although much of it needs modification to fit this Tamiya clone. I can't wait until the extra portholes get in from WEM. The kit was a gift and I am enjoying it rather well.

I'm also refurbishing a sailboat. It was a garage sale basket case I picked up a few weeks ago that required some holes to be glassed and a new paint job. Hope to have it sailing on the lake in the next two weeks.

And I got another dozen cannon built for my frigate.

Oh, and my wife and I are also building on our house. New storm windows and doors.

Still working on the Glencoe USS Oregon. She experienced a cat-related hull breach last week, and I've got her glued back together. I hope to shoot paint tuesday night.

Howdy Seasick, Putting the finishing touches on my Tamyia 1/700 Yamato and doing her base at the same time, Started to repaint my 1/700 KGV (formerly a Matchbox DoY) and her base is finished. And I couldn't stand it anymore so I put the forcastle on an Aoshima 1/700 "Showboat" BB55 USS North Carolina, and the forcastle and fantail on a Hasagawa BB 57 USS SoDak. I figured if I looked busy enough the "ONE WHO MUST BE OBEYED" wouldn't yell at me to muchWink [;)] anyway hope ya'lls weekend goes well

I'm working on Trumpter's 1/350 Yorktown (CV-10). Great kit, with plenty of detail. I'm adding WEM's PE set for it. Been working on it since November, and I'm about half finished at this point. I'm doing it for a friend that served on Essex class carriers just after the war. Cheers all, Mike

I am currently working on an excursion canal barge, one of four belonging to the Erie-Champlain Canal Boating Company. She is diesel powered, 41 feet long and 10 feet wide with a draft of 3 feet. The barges sleep six and are leased to people wanting to spend a week or two touring the upstate New York canal system. The 1/24 scale model is solid hull bread and butter construction along the waterlines.

I'm in the very early stages of building the Trumpeter 1/35 LCM as an RC model.

I'm also finishing up the Italeri 1/72 scale DUKW-- "not the prettiest boat on the highway, but the faster truck on the ocean!"
