There are several. One that I know is good is the one from Gold Medal Models. I believe Tom's Modelworks also has one - and I think Eduard may as well.

A good way to check out such things is via the Steel Navy website, www.steelnavy.com. On the home page are icons for each of the manufacturers - and for Pacific Front Hobbies, which carries just about all of them.

Good luck. It's an old kit, but basically a sound one; a good set of photo-etched parts will really bring it to life.

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.

Hi all, I am beginning work on Hasegawa's 1/700 scale Akagi and I was wondering if there are any photo etch sets out there for 1/700 scale Jap. Carriers. Can you help me?
