About 5 years ago, a very kind gentleman sent me some hand-drawn stations for a 1/24th scale model of the "Sea of Galilee" boat, which dates from that era. Also known as "the Jesus boat". Not sure if you are familiar with that one, but he also recommended Shelley Wachsmann's book "The Sea of Galilee Boat", published in 195 by Plenum Press. He also sent me a photograph of the finished model, which appears to be about 13" long. I don't have rigging instructions, but it is a start. If this would be of interest, let me know and I'll send a scan of the photo, and then if needed a copy of the plans.

I'm not really sure about this, but I believe that I have read somewhere that the "llaut" that is still being used by fishermen in the meditteranian is still somewhat the same as it was 2000 years ago.
