You can download Winzip from shareware.com and download.com. They offer a trial version that expires after 30 days, but has full functionality.

Jeff,
Thanks for the files, I tried to open and find they left out winzip when I had it reformated. I sent to disc and took it to work.

I would also like to thank every one for the welcome and support.

Welcome aboard, Runk',
I'm pretty much a newbie here myself, but already picked up a wealth of tips and links and ideas, not to mention good company. This is a nice place to be.

Jim,

I'll look for the file tonight. I hope you have a hi-speed connection, as it is a large file if I remember correctly.

Welcome to the Forum! An excellent series of articles on improving and detailing the Nichimo Yamato is currently running in the Nautical Research Journal. Back issues are available for a reasonable price. The Yamato series started in the Winter 2004 issue; Part 2 is in the Spring 2005 issue, which has just been published. (I don't know how many parts there are to be.) The Guild's website is www.naut-res-guild.org .

Hope this helps a little. Good luck.

Thank you I have been looking for 1 1/2 months on line. I think I should of said I'm a newbie to this site as I'm 46 years old. They have so much good information in these posts I find it hard to believe. I have only been back to building in the past few months and hope to learn alot from other members.
Thanks again

Jim,

Email me your address, as I have a set of Yamato plans I can send you copies of. I also have them in electronic format if you'd prefer that...although I will have to find that file somewhere in this pile of CDs and papers I call my office!!

Newbie needs help?

I just found this site today and enjoyed the last 3 months of posts I have read. My problem is a friend gave me the Nichimo 1/200th scale Yamato complete except for directions. I have searched the internet and can find nothing. I contacted Trident hobbies and they could not help. I hope some one here can point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance
