In the original "Waterline Series" of kits, as released back in the seventies, the
Akagi and
Kaga were made by Hasegawa, the
Hiryu and
Soryu by Aoshima, and the
Shokaku and
Zuikaku by Fujimi. I believe all of them are still listed by the manufacturers, though actually finding them may be another matter.
Much more recently Tamiya has released its own
Shokaku and
Zuikaku kits, which are far superior to the old Fujimi versions. I believe Skywave/Pit Road may have produced updated versions of the
Hiryu and
Soryu, but I'm not sure about that point. I suspect some other Forum participant may know more about this than I do.
