Insanely detailed Victory ship question
Posted by mfsob on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 3:09 PM
I'm into my second 1/700 Victory ship and have ordered the GMM photo etch watertight doors, life rings and hose reel fret, and now have a quandry - where exactly do all these things go?

I'm mainly wondering about the hose reels and life rings. While I have found a few good photos that give some of the locations, does anyone know of a schematic or locator diagram for all of those items that can be found on the decks of a Victory ship?

I would recommend getting a set of plans from wither Floating Drydock or Pacific Front Hobbies.

That's one option.

Another is to take a DEEP breath and recognize the fact that I am now fully affected by Modeler's Disease - Insane Details Syndrome. :D

It happens to the best of us...it's easier to deal with it than it is to fight it. Spend, Jedi...spend.
