.. I went to the HObby Lobby next door to where I made a Big Lots delivery Monday, and I got the Revell 1/400 Queen Mary II for $29.00!!!

I sure that wasnt the right price, but I didnt say nothing. Did I get a good deal?

And anyone know how the kit is? It looks nice from first glance inside.

Anyone have any photo etch for the thing yet?

Thanks all

Pat

They seem to have a strange pricing policy. My wife I went to one where not many of the items had price tags. Whenever my wife would walk up to the clerk and ask the price, he would take his sticker gun and put some unreasonably low price on it, say a $50 lamp would get a $12 price on it. I did the same thing with a few Tamiya kits and walked out paying 1/2 than wholesale price.

I did see the Revell UBoat this weekend for $29.99. I too didn't have any money though.
