Well Jake, I have a lot more practicing to do at sailing my Fairwind before taking the helm of that beauty. I have problems keeping two sails out of irons let alone a dozen.

Umi, those SC&H LTD. models are quit the scale models for the price. Although they have a lot of fiberglass and composites instead of traditional materials in the build up, they have a reputation of being good sailers.

I keep telling my wife that I'm getting a boat someday. She keeps thinking it will be a ski, pontoon, bass, or sailboat. Well, it will have sails, but will also have 32 cannons as well.Big Smile [:D]

For the price of a good used car, I can have my own 5th rater to sail.Pirate [oX)] Har Har Har! Oh what fun it would be to do privateering raids on a fleet of geese.

You can find smaller versions here if you like.

These appeared about the same time as the Master and Commander movie.
Someone did kind of a review of his kit last year. Wink [;)]

Just think of the detail you can pack into that baby every little knot, and the figures too.
