Admiral Kuznetsov Photoetched Detail Set [FREE TO FIRST REQUEST]
Posted by F4PHANTOMGUY on Friday, May 27, 2005 10:25 AM
I typically build aircraft but thought I might give the 1/350 scale Trumpeter Admiral Kuznetsov a try. I purchased the Gold Medal Model PE detail set but on my way to purchase the ship kit I got ambushed by some lovely Tamiya 1/32 scale F-4 Phantom kits. Bottom line is I am not likely to buy the ship and would hate to have this detail set just collecting dust. Any one who is building the Admiral Kuznetsov may have this set for FREE. First come. first served. Just leave me a note with your name and mailing adress. I will pay the shipping for any destination in the USA.Approve [^]

Hi Phantom, I picked up the Kuznetsov a few weeks ago and am busy collecting ref pics etc. I was thinking hard about the GMM set but they are unavailable here in Poland. If you really don't mind passing the set on I would be very grateful to receive it. I can of course send you dollars to re-imburse you for the postage here.

Phantomguy,Well what can I say. A VERY VERY HEARTFELT thank you for starters. Someone told me that if you do a favor for someone you will always get it back. I guess it's true. I only hope I can do it justice and will send pics when the Admiral begins construction.
Again, many thanks and anything I can do for you in the Aircraft line from over here in the land of Aber and Eduard just ask.
Jim.

Jim, I tried to FED EX the detail set but they would not accept the request without a phone numberAngry [:(!] SO I just sent it via the postal service. They estimate about a week for delivery. I look forward to seeing photos of the completed ship.

Best Wishes

Hi Jim,
just to let you know, the set arrived today at 6pm with a gentle knock on the door.
I am currently sitting here with a cup of English tea and drooling over all those detail parts. It will certainly give the kit a real boost.
A thousand thanks again.
Jim.
