                        This looks like a big version of those crappy wooden model boats you can buy in bad grocery stores sometimes.

                        Good Lord ... yes, I think we can top that. Heck, my daughter's paint job looks better than that - she's turning into quite the masking and spray can expert.

                        But regarding the Revell Titanic, has anyone else had a hard time getting the stern to come together? I've had to resort to some judicious sanding of the aft well deck/poop deck assembly and there's still an ugly gap at the stern rail.

                        i think we are missing the point IT says antique. Yes it is not the super accurate stuff we do today but it Represents a wooden model made by hand and hand painted circa 1930's looking at it that way it is pretty good

                        Actually, I think by "antique," they are trying to say that the actual Titanic itself was built a long time ago, not this "model." Hard to tell, since English is obviously not the writer's first langauge.

                        I built this model twice, and I really didn't have much difficulty. First I test fit the aft deck to the hull, and then took stock of where the shape of the deck was keeping the part from sitting properly. Then I did a little judicious sanding of the edge of the deck and was ale to get it to sit right without any gaps.

                        Good luck on the model. My second Titanic is finished, I'll try to get pics posted soon.

                        Ive seen this model on E bay before, its a creation out of China. Hard to believe but people actuallly shell out that kind of money for crapola. Makes me glad though, because some of my models have sold on Evil Bay for a pretty decent price. This guy just makes even me look good!
