Hi David,

Check these models out. They're Nuclear Subs, but they are the only models I have seen with an 'underwater' paint scheme. Hope this helps.

Revell 1/72 U-boat-underwater paint scheme?
Posted by shouldda on Sunday, June 19, 2005 10:03 PM
Hello and Happy Fathers Day to all.

I'm a happy dad, my kids pooled their scratch and bought me the Revell 1/72 U-boat that I was lusting after.

I have wanted to build a U-boat for many years and paint it to look like it is under water, with the light and dark of shade as filtered through 50 feet of ocean. Is this a realistic goal? ( I have an airbrush with moderate skill). Comments and advise appreciated.

Thanks,

David
