You'll find a couple of good reviews of the kits over at ModelWarships.com and SteelNavy.com

I have the Essex (still unbuilt) and it's a great looking kit. The Randolph is supposed to be just as nice.

Butchy,

It's an accurate long hull...bow sheer is completely different, as are the 40mm mounts on the bow.

I was wondering if anyone has seen this kit yet. My question is, is this a rebox of their Essex Kit or is an accurate model of a Long Hull Essex Class Carrier which the Randolph was. I am hopeful that we will finally have a accurate long hull Essex kit in 1/700 scale.
