I'm okay ... my guess was way out there so I didn't expect trumpets and roses. I believe Jeff was scratching his head when he replied, though ....

it is not a wooden scratch build but a plastic airfix kit that has been modified. the reason i know is not wooden scratch build is because i have the original model in my hand as i'm typing this. he took out b turret & put in vls. has added a director at top front of bridge. has something ontop of the 4 aa gun turrets around the stack. took out the float plane, it's pedestal, crane, 4 ships boats & replaced them with harpoon missile tubes & life rafts. took out the aft mast area & the 2 gun turrets & added a heli pad & hanger ontop of where y turret was & put vls in place of z turret

Looks like a pretty good wooden scratchbuild of a WWII British light cruiser with some modernization applied .... which is what you guys said .... 'cept for the wood ..... and the scratchbuild. And the electronics are sorta slap-n-tickle ...

That's true! I don't know how I missed that; I guess I was looking too much at the hull improvements.

Kinda reminds me of my "what if?" Tirpitz.

I was also going to say a modified Ajax light cruiser updated to modern standards.

that is not a destroyer hull or gun turret as that is a cruiser because of 4 prop shafts. smoke stack makes her to belong to hms ajax clas but heavily modified & somewhat updated
