Jake:
Honestly, I get over to New Orleans as little as possible. I'm quite a small town person and even here in Biloxi, I am starting to feel pinned lately in with all the casinos and condos. New Orleans just drives me nuts when I go over there. :)

Thanks for the invite, though. I'm always ready to sit and talk shop. :)

Hi Russ39,

After the storm maybe we can get together sometime and swap stories and drink a few cups. You get toward New Orleans much?

Hello everyone:
I am here in Biloxi, MS, just down the way a bit from Jake. We are all battened down here and waiting. It looks right now like Mobile is wearing a bull's eye, but that means that everyone from Mobile on east to Destin will catch the worst of Dennis. Over here, we are expecting 60 mph + winds and a lot of rain. So long as the power holds out , I will be at the workbench working on a new project. :)

I have been through 4 major hurricanes here over the years and I don't envy the folks over in the panhandle and coastal Alabama. I hope everyone over there has the good sense to get out. Dennis is mean and there's no doubt of it.

Hang on tight, Jake. Looks like Dennis means business. Here in North Carolina we get our share of hurricanes - but I can't believe one of this size is hitting in early July. Looks like it's gonna be a long summer and fall.

Good luck. After it's passed, give us a post as soon as you conveniently can. We'll be thinking about you.

We were just explained that should the storm shift west a bit we will be under the warning. I've been watching this storm and it has not deviated from the NW movement, as they have predited and has NOT turned north, maybe it will during the night, who knows. Everything is boarded up using plylox clips, man they work good.

Shouldn't you start sailing them to deeper waters? Pirate [oX)]
