Model with a LOT of figures on it
Posted by mfsob on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 10:59 AM
For my next 1/700 scale project, I am thinking of recreating the "Ship of Miracles," the Meredith Victory, when she evacuated more than 14,000 North Korean refugees from a port there to safety in the South during the Korean War.

I remember that someone in here posted a link to a project that recreated the Japanese surrender on the Missouri, and I'd like to talk to that guy to see what pitfalls he ran into while gluing that many small people to the ship's decks. Anyone know where I can find it?

Try contacting Jim Baumann, who can be found over on the Modelwarship.com or SteelNavy.com forums. He added a figure or two this model of the SMS Szent Istvan sinking.
