Thats a tough one. I would venture that the destroyers built durring 1920s and before programs were probably teak. The later destroyers had linoleum.
Be careful, the wood decks could be painted over as can the linoleum. Though linoleum does not hold paint well. Ships were painted for operations. Japanesse paint did not have good quality control as far as color was concerned, though the paint was of good quality otherwise untill the last years of the war.
