Help with HMS Victorious
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, July 25, 2005 9:30 PM
I am a rookie ship builder working on the Aoshima kit of the RN CV Victorious. The kit is basically OK but some parts appear not to scale. The suggested paint scheme looks suspect too. Can anyone suggest a reference - like a Profile publication - that would be useful to correct these problems? Are there any other modellers who like WW2 RN carriers?

Thanks heaps. I will get that Anatomy of a Ship publication - great series.

I have a soft spot for RN carriers but would like to see more cruisers (Ajax!) and battleships (Warspite!) from RN and Commonwealth navies in polystyrene. Have not tackled resin kits yet - that is next challenge. Glad that WEM is around (and GMM too).

Thanks again for source.
