That looks great! Was the ferry's draft really that shallow, or is this a waterline kit?

Umi: Yes, I will include this on my layout. Along with a couple of tugboats I have and some three foot long car floats. They will be used as staging areas for traffic coming on and off the layout.

Lufbery: The kit is a waterline model. My guess, and this is a guess only based on other rail-car ferrys, is that the draft on this ferry would be around 10 foot. BUT, that is a SWAG at best.

Yea, the lighting is lots better out there on the porch, instead of at my dirty, unorganized workbench, with the flourescent lights.
