                        Choosing the right 1/700th scale Bismarck

                        Pit Road, Aoshima and Dragon have all released new Bismarck kits in 1/700. Anyone have any opinion on which one builds up to the best detailed and most accurate kit of the vessel?

                        I went with the Trumpeter model. The detail on the bulkheads is very nice and some thought was put into how the ship would be painted by the modeler to make it easier during assembly.

                        I bought the PitRoad/Trumpeter kit. I haven't built it, so I don't know how it goes together, but I thought the detail was crisper and the molding better than the Dragon kit (which I saw in the box).

                        Actually, it is a PitRoad kit. Outside of Japan, it's marketed and sold by Trumpeter.
