Well, I only have space for one battleship (or the money to buy another one at the moment)), and I don't mind doing the extra work.

The Tamiya New Jersy is modernized already. I suggest you buy that and build the two as a now-and-then display set.

I have the Tamiya 1/350 MIssouri, still sitting around unbuilt (I want to get better at modeling in general first). Now after reading this month's issue of FSM, I have an idea of what I want to do. Out of the box, the kit appears to be the ship as it appeared during WWII. I want it as it appeared after its last refit, with all the modernizations in place. I realize this will probably take some serious work. Do any of you who have done conversions know how I could go about this, when I do get around to it?
