I had an older thread on this and Here is what Revel of Germany sent me.....
Dear Mr. Enlow, ( thats me )
I don´t know who makes the prices for the US market. But here in Germany a consumer will have to pay about EUR 50,00 for one model.
Betreff: WG: 1/72 VII-C SUB
Best regards
Manuela Schulze Revell AG

NOW: There might be a SMALL chance that revell of U.S. can carry the kit as a domestic release...even still I doubt that it will be anywhere near that price for such a big sub kit.
Over at HOBBY LINC... I have a pre-order at 26.99 with shipping and have a letter of them saying that "No matter what the final price will be I will get it at that price!" ......Check it out!

I just looked and they still have it at 16.99!.....I tell you ....thats not going to the final price......smaller kits retail at alot more! especialy Revell of Germany kits!
Here is White Ensign [ENGLISH mail order's price]
Revell 1/72 U-552(Reference #Revell 72 U-Boat)
Type VIIC U-Boat. EXPECTED NOVEMBER 2003.
Price: £34.04 (Excluding: VAT at 17.5%)
and I'm pretty sure thats close to fifty something U.S. or more.
Hope this helps.
No matter what.....its going to be a very COOL kit and a breakthrough for styrene Sub kits!.....AND!...It's about time!
Straighten up and fly right.....

Papa-Echo-64 Your prices (aprox $50.00) are most likely closer to what will be the final price when released. I just thought I would pass on what my LHS told me as I read the other posts that had bogus prices also. Keep us informed if you hear anything different and I will do the same.

Here is the Revell of Germany link!

OOPS!....they will not let you link a CERTAIN page....SO....click on ENGLISH then under PRODUCTS hit MODEL KITS .....when you get to a search option punch in ( 1/72 VII C ) that should do it.
Straighten up and fly right.....
