I caught it too. Sorry the Germans burned them. What a waste.

I wonder how much history those demented B**tards destroyed, Has anyone ever try to find out? I know that there was German General who refused to burn Paris. And thanks to Goeings' greed, we have many works of art that survived, albeit, not back with the original owners:(.

Jake- a lot of art was destroyed and even some type specimens of dinosaurs perished as well-not to mention the loss of cultures and human life-war does SUCK!

PS-The Nazi's only preserved art they thought was 'acceptable' any modern styles were reviled or destroyed. Certain artists were not even allowed to practice.
