detail sets for trumpeter seawolf
Posted by awan on Friday, August 26, 2005 8:32 AM
Are there any sets out there (photoetch, resin, or other...) to detail up the big Seawolf from Trumpeter? I was hoping to change the prop, cause it looks too two-dimensional, and maybe add a few bits and pieces here and there.

thanx

Yankee Modelworks had talked about up-scaling their excellent (and fairly accurate) 1:350 scale photo-etch for the back end of the odd-scale Trumepeter Seawolf. Yankee has recently been bought by Trident Models, so the status of that product is up in the air

Hang in there Dragon is coming to the rescue with a new 1/350 scale "plastic"Seawolf.. It has to be better than the Trumpet kit.. The Trumpet kit has too many problems to list.. But the most glaring is the sail in both shape and location...
