Just been thinking again [dangerous!]....
How would a 1:72 type IX U-Boat go over with the Modelling
Community? RoG ,I believe, has experienced rather significant
success with the Type VII,& lots of us who primarily model
other stuff have been taken by the "Grey Wolves".
I can see a reissue of the VIIc with a different Conning Tower, etc.
that would certainly keep their sales momentum up, but
perhaps the typeIX,albeit over 41inches long,would clinch
the U-Boat market forever ! Just wondering what you other
folks think, like would the size be too difficult to mould & package,
& would it be too large to display?[like we don't have that problem
with the VIIc]
I'm figuring that this is where feedback for the Marketing Gurus
begins,& maybe we could start a ball rolling,if the kit is workable.
Regards
