It's the old Imai kit reborn. I didn't buy that one in particular, but it has a fine reputation. Those Imai sailing ship kits, which originally appeared in the late seventies and early eighties, were generally excellent. I've said more than once in this forum that the Imai Cutty Sark (which also just reappeared under the Aoshima label, and is also in that Squadron flyer) is the most accurate representation of that ship in kit form. I just wish the prices weren't so hideous.

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.

Posted by Lufbery on Friday, September 2, 2005 2:26 PM
Hi all,

Does anyone know anything about the 1/150 scale Le Napoléon sailing ship kit offered by Aoshima and advertised in this month's Squadron flyer?

Regards,

-Drew
