Iron Shipwright has just released a 1:350 scale Hamilton-class cutter. I picked one up at the Nats. It's very nice.

JAG Collective makes a 1:700 scale Bear-class cutter. They also make a couple of Hamiltons (pre and post FRAM)

The Most Wanted Kit Vote!?!?! Are those all the choices?!?!?

Did anyone else think that the choices in the kit vote were pretty limited?
I found myself checking the other category for many of the aircraft kits. It was the ship kits that I had really hoped would have had more depth in the field. The other thing was that even when I checked other, I had hoped there would be a space to write in the kit I wanted to see. The majority of kits, esp. in the 1/700 range seem to already have kits anyway!
1/350 is where I would hope to see a larger foray of kits, esp. in light of Trumpeter's success in that scale.

My choices:
1/350

USCGC Bear (270' medium endurance cutter)

USCGC Hamilton (378' High endurance cutter-how bout some color in your ship modeling collection- WHITE!!!)

USSR Kirov/Frunze class battlecruiser (1990 love those red/brown decks! This is an awesome looking ship!)

Some CG aircraft would be nice as well, like the HH-60 Jayhawk in 1/48 or the old J-2F Duck in 1/32 scale

There's my rant....
