I don't have the instructions anymore. But I remember shaving the lower half portion attached to the front piece, instead of the upper hull half, as per the instructions. I just used an X-acto knife.

ok everyone

Need confirmation i am attempting to build the 688 as a improved LA class in the 751 and when loooking at the instruction after cutting of the stern to substitute with parts D-1 and D-2the instructions show D-1 going to the upper hull half and D-2 going to the lower half but i find the upper hull has a notch on it that maes to D-2 and am going to aseble opposit of the instructions did anyone else encounter this and do the same or should i file it down so the parts fit? Thanks
