Here is a second old Aurora "Tucumcari" kit. The typical high bid is around 55 dollar.

I seem to recall that there was a German company KMB or someone that was considering releasing a version of the VS-8 hydrofoil. But I can't seem to find any current references for it.

Umi,
That VS-8 is the one I was talking about! I wish I could get one of those in 1/72nd to go with my S-100 I going to build. I wouldn't mind the original RC kit as I would
like an rc boat now.

The PT-50 was the one I am after!
It was used on Port Jackson (Sydney Harbour) many years ago.
I had an argument with one while sailing a Montague Whaler. He had trouble stopping and I had trouble tacking due to wind, tide and a landing Sandringham!

Good memory, I completely forgot about that one, and there was someone in Seattle that had one of those too. Unfortunately the 32nd parallel model is also out of production, and I have never seen those up for resale at all. Sad [:(]

Here are some images of the PT-50 and the VS-8 off my hard drive.

There is only one commercial RC hydrofoil kit, and it is out of production.
It may have been the one you had so many years ago.
It was the Gunze Sangyo PT-50.
It can still be found on e-bay, typically out of Korea, but it also usually sells for $380-559 on auction.

There is one other person that advertises a very nice looking RHS-200 hull/kit, but doesn't say anything about the price. I have tried contacting him twice, and perhaps it is a language barrier, but I got less than satisfactory responses from him. Everything about the website says it's for sale, but nothing on how to obtain one.

If you have any luck or decide to try ordering one let me know, as this is a gorgeous kit, and probably a quicker build than scratchbuilding my own(as I have been trying to do)Dead [xx(]

Umi's right with the skywave kit - it includes PHM-1 Pegasus.

Are you talking RC?

In model kits there are three that I know of.
A small escort in 1/700 of the PHM included with the FFG 7 PERRY frigate by skywave I think.
A resin PHM by White Ensign Models 1:350th scale model kit
and the old Aurora model kit of the Tucumcari. This kit pops up on Ebay a lot now, and usually sells for $40- $60 dollars.

For RC, that's a different story...
