It's been around for quite a long time, but my recollection of it is that it's a beauty. Tamiya took a good deal of care getting the details - and the differences from its
King George V kit - right. I'm sure the experts can find some errors in it, but basically it's a fine kit.
That class of battleship did have some features that don't translate well into styrene - most notably the radar screens and the very conspicuous aircraft and boat cranes amidships. The Tamiya kit is an excellent candidate for aftermarket photo-etched detail parts. I know for a fact that the Gold Medal Models set is excellent; I believe White Ensign Models also makes one. A good place to see what's available is the Steel Navy website: www.steelnavy.com.
Good luck. That kit has the potential to be turned into a first-rate model.
