Looking to model my first boat!

If they can't get it for you, you'll find plenty on sale on the web. It looks like they just released it again in December. The price is about $200 at most sites that I've seen. Model Expo used to run sales on this kit. They may again.

PS. By the way, you ruined me! While checking out Model Expo's web site I saw that they are releasing a museum quality 1/16 scale model of the Curtis JN-4D Jenny. I can't resist this kit!

Hands down the best U-Boat kit out there is the one made by Amati. Here's a link to it. I haven't built it myself, but reviews I've seen on it have been excellent. It makes great use of photo-etch for deck and vents.
