Pacific Front Hobbies

I'm sure that quite a few of you here have ordered items from them. How was the experience? Were they helpful if you had a question? Timely shipping? etc...?

I'm about to order some resin aircraft for a carrier model, and would like to know more about them based on experience from anyone here.

Thanks in advance,

John

Bill Gruner & Pacific Front Hobbies are a recommended online vendor. Bill stock most of the items in his catalog. He is not like some other vendors who take your order & money then must turn around and place an order with the manufacturer/supplier in order to complete your order.

The main gripe against Bill is his email policy. Bill runs a one man shop and often does not reply to emails as promptly (or at all) as many would want him to. If you need to check on the availability of an item you should call Bill and speak with him. Like I said before, Bill is a one man shop and his phone may be busy when you call. Give him a few minutes and try back. Bill is a pleasant fellow to talk with. Call and he can tell you if an item is in stock, if not in stock he can give you an availability date.

Bill at PacFront is good folks and overall experience of dealing with him is a positive experience.

I'm a long time customer of Bill. I have been buying kits, and accesories from him since 1997. No complaints.

I have no complaints either and yes Bill is a pleasent man to deal with and has been very helpful with my questions.
The comments EdGrune made are spot on about Bill' Shop and his EMail situation.

Many of our suppliers are a one guy operation. I'd say Bill runs a good shop for the amount of business he does. I had an order that I had a mistake on, I ordered two items instead of one. Bill called me to clarify. He also helps with getting an idea on availability of particular items that are in limited supply and helps source those items.

Make sure when you call him, to tell him that he was highly recommended by the FSM forum members. Bill Gruner is one of the "Good Guys" in the business. I've known him and ordered from him for years, and he's advertised with FSM for years. It's nice to know when someone says something nice about you.

I've ordered from PFH and had nothing but excellent products and service. I might even jump in the Vette and tool down there to see him one day soon. It's only a couple hundred miles from here and plenty to see on the way.
