Now that is some interesting ship! Just goes to show that in wartime, "what's available" takes priority over "what's best." But I suspect you're SOL for the model. Although - Loose Cannon Productions makes a Casablanca-class CVE that might work, or at least give you the basic hull shape: http://home.earthlink.net/~loosecannonproductions/Kit76.html

Is there any way of building this vessel except from scratch? Starting life as the Rio De La Plata passenger/freighter and finally ending it as the Sitmar Fairsea (1) cruise ship she had a varied, if undistinguished, career and I sailed on her once.

If all else fails, is there a comparably shaped kit hull out there?
