Donnie, I am building that one at this time. The thread in my kit is pink??? I was going to use various sizes I have laying around anyway. There are a few points I want to make about the instructions and assembly. You might have already figured out some of this for yourself.
Step 2-3 instructs you to install a lot of parts on the deck like steering, capstan, etc. It is better to wait and do that after the deck(s) and hull halves are assembled in step 4. That way you won't knock parts off when you're doing step 4. All of them can be installed afterwards with no problem.
While doing step 4 be sure to install parts 29H and 30H before gluing the hull/deck assembly together. You can't squeeze it in there afterwards. Be sure the deck is positioned as far forward as possible in the hull or else it will prevent the "transom" piece (part 39D) from fitting snug against the gallery parts on the sides. The good advice to test fit all parts definitely applies here.
