A remarkably fine model that really seems to capture the character of the USN's amphibious force.  I'm particularly interested because my father commanded a group of LCVPs in the Pacific.

This kit is on the short list of those I want to buy and build in the near future.  I'd give up my salary for the rest of my life if Dad was still around to help me with it.

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.

Thanks for your kind comments, jtilley!

I think you can build a fleet of LCVPs in honor of your Dad...

Nice looking craft.  Just wish the price tag was a little lower and it came with a full compliment.

I need to pick up several of the Airfix kits in 72nd for a dio or 2 I have in mind.  If the price comes down on this kit I may have to pic one up even though I don't usually build 35th scale anymore.

Fine job, Maniac. I think you should post it in the Armor Forum, too. Those guys will really appreciate it.

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.

Thanks for your kind compliments, philp and subfixer!

philp, even though I stick to 1:35 armors, I couldn't help buying Dragon's Panther and Revell's Tiger 1:72 when I found them at half price.

subfixer, in the same page I have several armors and I posted the armors in Armor Forum already. Those who viewed my armors will also see the LCVP.
