On my way to the grocery store the keeper of my local hobbyshop tapped on her window to call me in.
Finally the ICM 1/144 German U-Boot Type XXIII had arrived, I had
ordered it a couple of weeks ago instead of the orriginal armor (T28)
that seemed to be oop.
What can I say about it.... it's small
but the (about 24) pieces look very crisp with almost no flash.
The main reason for me to buy it was that you don't see many models of
the type XXIII around, the only model I ever saw of it was a
scratchbuild master for R/C hulls.
Although I don't build many shipmodels, I'm getting this strange idea
of starting a sub collection, maybe even some kind of "History of
Submarine Warfare"-collection.
Anyway, I'm sure you guys have a lot more interesting stuff to read than my piece on the tiny weeny german sub.
