search the message board of the SubCommittee for all kinds of links of our members building and R/Cing their 1/72 Type VIIs...some dynamic, but some with very nice ballast systems...

Talking about Revell's 1/72 U-Boat, I saw pics in a British R/C magazine from one that was made to be radiocontrolled and diveable (dynamic dive that is), looked coolSmile [:)]

On the bench : Revell's 1/125 RV Calypso

Thanks for the help, guys. I think I'm going to try one of the cotton flags from the Modelflags website.

The modelflags site is good, I've got cotton flags from them and silk ones from another site. The threads are small but not scale of course, but still will probably use them.

redfish, you can copy reduce and paste the swas from the site to fit the Revell flag included with your kit. I have done this several times and it works just fine. If you don't know how to, drop me an email with your mailing address and I'll mail you some reduced swas to paste on the Revell flag.

Hi Redfish,

this should do it...

the red one, not the black and white one.

Take Care,

I'm building the 1/72 Revell u-boat. Does anyone know if there are any companys that make a German naval ensign in 1/72 scale which includes the swastika?
