white ensign makes aftermarket versions, but I agree that the kit's, with some work, turn out excellently.

Actually the kit torpedos are excellent. A littleWork is needed on the fins and the screws must be replaced,  which I think Toms did a update for. I'm pretty certain someone like Tom's or Eduard did a PE update for that kit.  I just covered mine with tissue soaked in whiteglue to represent the canvas covers that were almost always on these fish.
