I have a question ... and I seriously doubt that anyone will have an affirmative answer for me, but it doesn't hurt to ask, right? OK, here's my question; does/did anyone make the quad 20mm gunmount utilized on some PT boats and also on the USS Massachusetts and one of her sisters, I think the Alabama. The mount was called the Thunderbolt, Mark XV.
I'm having a guy (as I am disabled and can't build models myself) convert the Revell PT-109 kit into PT-556 "Available Jones" - which had the Thunderbolt mount for a while. He'll scratchbuild the mount - but I was just thinking if there was a kit of it - I could just have him spruce it up ... is there one?
