Ok i am sure I have seen this mentioned before but I cant find it so sorry if it has been mentioned loads.

Anyway what are the best methods for creating a wooden deck effect on a plastic model?

For new teak, paint the deck with Polly-Scale Old Concrete and apply a thin brown-gray wash. That's it.

For older teak, Polly-Scale Old Concrete followed by a heavier gray wash and a thin brown wash. Add some pastels or weathering powders for streaking and subtle changes in the tonality of the wood.

Or..plank it !!
