What is the best way to paint the Hornet, used on the Doolittle Raid. Do you use mask, by hand,  air brushing ? Any information will be help-ful, before I mess it up good.   Thank you, Tony

The most accurate and probbably the easiest would be to make template masks to cover the lighter haze gray on the island and the ocean gray on the hull. I did mine the hard way (freehand with a brush) using the Mk 1 eyeball lining up reference points on the ship. Next time I,ll mask. If memory serves, there are a couple of articles in FSM showing how to make the masks using your printer or a copier. I hope this helps .
