Danny,

I do not have the Heller 1/50 Chebec kit.  But if you need some instructions a basic set is available from this Web site:

https://www.super-hobby.com/products/Le-Chebec.html

Download the pictures as needed.

It should at least get you started.

Other members may have the actual Instructions and perhaps they will be in touch thru your email.

You do not need to put your email address in a post.  Enter it in your profile or ask for a Private Message.  That is a lot safer.

     Nino

Jake

I can send you a copy of the Linberg Jolly Roger kit. I'll email it to you probably either later tonight or tomorrow morning in a PDF. Unless you would prefer to have it mailed to you. All the other kits i have intructions for have already been covered. best of luck

hey big jake  sorry to hear about your problems but i can tell you this . the easiest way is to contact heller by mail and they may help . i had a lot of heller kits that got water damaged in an apartment house fire (no it wasn,t my place but the one 2 doors down ) i wrote heller and asked how much replacement decals and instructions would be and within a month (i thought they forgot me ) what should come in the mail, ALL the instructions and decals i needed and there was no charge . this may not be the case for you but give it a try .     tankerbuilder

Hi Scott,

I saw your answer to Jake two years ago, regarding missing kit instructions to a Heller Preussen 1:150 and was wondering if you got the Preussen instructions as PDF?

I'm got the kit from a friend, but without instructions. I contacted Heller several times to get a new set of instructions, but they don't respond to any of my e-mails.

Are you able to help?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Christian

If it's of any help; I have PDF copies of the instructions of Airfix's Victory in 1/180 and Wasa 1/144. These were downloaded from the Airfix website before it stopped access to the files.

I also have the Airfix 1/87 Bounty. Could the Heller Bounty be a reissue of the Airfix kit? All files are over 5mb.

I have some of the one's your looking for.  Let me know what you still need and I'll get them to you.  I just purchased a 1/96 1974 release of the Revell Cutty Sark for just $26.00 if that helps.

OK, I'll send them to you next week when I get back.
Is it OK if I e-mail you the scanned images rather than posting them to you?

To repeat my previous question - Are you interested in scans of any of my kit instructions? I have:

Airfix Victory
Airfix Wasa
Airfix Discovery
Revell 16" Constitution
Revell 16" Santa Maria
Revell 36" Cutty Sark
Revell Mayflower (think this is the 16" one, not sure - it is a recent Revell AG issue)
Heller Le Gladiateur

(note I'll be away from Monday to Friday next week)

Have you tried here: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/plamo/

You can download Assembly guides of most of the kits listed there.

Hope this help.

No matter where you go ....... there you are.

I have quite a few of the kits on your list. Would you be interested in scanned images of the instructions? (As I haven't built most of these kits myself yet, I don't really want to give the instructions away!)

This one's easy!  You'll find every detail of the rigging of the Cutty Sark's rigging (and just about every other feature of her) in the beautiful plans of her drawng by George Cambell, who was the naval architect in charge of her restoration back in the fifties.  The drawings are available from the gift shop on board the ship.  Here's the link:   http://www.cuttysark.org.uk/index.cfm?fa=contentShop.productDetails&productId=40&startrow=1&directoryId=6

I don't think I've ever seen three sheets of paper with more information on them.  The price, even with the current not-very-favorable exchange rate, works out to about $20.00, including shipping, making those plans one of the biggest bargains in model building.  I got my set many years ago, but several folks who've ordered them recently over the web report excellent, fast service.

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.

Dear Ship Building Friend:

I'm trying to restore an old 36" Revell Plastic Cutty Sark--the riggings rotted.  Would like standing and running rigging plans if you know where to get them.  I loaned mine to a friend and....never to be seen again.  Please reply to:  DHostetler@unumprovident.com as I no longer have the AOL account.  Thanks in advance
