Tamiya do a late war/ 1945 surrender 1/700 USS Missouri. Can't comment on its accuracy, but I thought that it was nicely molded & went together well......up until the point that I dropped mine on the floor & wrote it off anyway :(

Liked the way that they had molded the barbettes separate from the deck to make painting easier, but found the AA armament a bit fiddly in the scale.

The only 1:700 Missouri by Trumpeter I've seen is the 1991 version that I have just started.

I guess the offering I have seen is Trumpeter.  How is it?  I assume it is late war.  Is that correct?  Anybody build it, like it?
