For scale effect, you'll probably want a matte finish, although the person who could answer your question is John Snyder from White Ensign.

Thanks for that Jeff. I virtually haunt that site and that's where most of my research is done.I think you are right with scale and I'm using Whit Ensign's Med grey which is matt so I'll run with that.
