I recently bought the Trump North Carolina from a site called LuckyModel.com.  At $52 the price was the best I've seen anywhere.  Shipping from Hong Kong was on the steep side ($22) but at a total of $74, still reasonable.

I argree to support your local hobby shop,if there is one nearby. The nearest one to me is about 60 miles away, so I shop on-line quite a bit. I just got a Lexington on ebay for about $60 +15 shipping. Some on-line hobby sites offer good deals. I was sure happy with my purchase. Good luck.

While I hate to tell you not to support your local hobby shop, Ebay regularly sells Trumpeter carriers for $50-$60, and if you pay attention to who you buy it from, shipping is generally not more than $10.

Trumpeter advise

Guys,

Need some advise here. What do you think is an acceptable price range for a 1/350 Trumpeter carrier/battleship? I mean if someone is selling one for USD100 flat (inclusive of postage already), would you buy it? If not, what is the price that you will be comfortable with?

Just want to know so that I know I get the best deal..thanks a lot in advance!
