Thanks for the idea. The wire core is brilliant, I don’t think I would have come up with that myself.

I used stocking material wrapped around (stripped) lengths of twist-tie wire, which gave it a nice "posability" factor. It takes a bit of fiddling to get the hang of, but it looked quite convincing when done (and the wire core made it much easier to paint and weather). Good luck.

I am almost finished with my 1:350 SMS Konig and am looking to put some finishing touches on it. I have seen quite a few photos of ICM’s Konig and Grosser Kurfurst with stowed torpedo nets. Just wondering if any of you guys had suggestions on what I could use. Stockings or some sort of cheese cloth crossed my mind. Thanks for the input!
